Australian High Commission Becomes Crowded House

Australian High Commission Becomes Crowded House

The British High Commission offices in Wellington remain closed for remedial works. With the agreement of the Australian Government, the full British High Commission is now operating out of a space in the Australian High Commission at 72-76 Hobson Street.

Full consular services continue to operate from this address from 0900 –1300, Monday to Friday.

Our contact details have not changed:
Phone: (+64) 04 924 2888
Facebook: UK in New Zealand
Twitter: @UKinNZ
Email: consularmail.wellington@fco.gov.uk

If you need consular assistance out-of-hours, please call 04 924 2888. Please note that we will not be able to provide physical “out of hours” services in Wellington until we have returned to our own building.

We encourage British Nationals requiring emergency travel documentation to go to our online booking system.

Australian and British High Commission staff have agreed that, for the duration of the British stay within the AHC, it is only fair for both High Commissions to support the British and Irish Lions in their 2017 tour later this year and the Wallabies in the 2017 Bledisloe Cup.
