Auckland Seafood Festival Taking a Break in 2017
After feeding and entertaining Aucklanders for the past ten years, The Auckland Seafood Festival will take a break in 2017.
Festival director Justine Powell said that cancellation of next year’s event came after consideration of all options, and was not the end, but an opportunity to create a better festival experience for the future.
“The decision to cancel the 2017 event was a difficult one, but it’s time to update the format of the Auckland Seafood Festival,” says Justine Powell. “We are committed to returning to the waterfront and look forward to announcing a date for 2018 in the near future.”
Held on Anniversary Weekend, The Auckland Seafood Festival is a true celebration of all that New Zealand Seafood has to offer.
Sanford and The Auckland Seafood Festival team would like to thank the many people who have made the Festival possible in previous years, and the Festival goers to their support.
