nomination in
There’s still time to get a nomination in for a candidate seeking to contest the Howick Local Board Botany subdivision by-election but you’ll need to get a move on.
Nominations have to be with the Electoral Officer by noon on Thursday 22 December.
Here’s what you need to do:
1. 1f you want to stand as a candidate for the Howick Local Board you need to be:
• Over the age of
18
• A New Zealand citizen registered on the
electoral roll
• Have two electors
enrolled in the Botany subdivision nominate
you.
• Get your nomination in by noon on
Thursday 22 December.
Note: Each nomination must be
accompanied by a deposit of $200 GST incl.
2. If you are nominating a candidate remember you must be on the Botany subdivision electoral roll. Check the boundaries here or go to a local library or service centre as listed below :

Botany Library: Level 1 Sunset Terrace, Botany Town
Centre
• Tupu Youth Library: 102 Dawson Road,
Otara
• Manukau Service Centre:4 Osterley Way,
Kotuku House, Manukau
3. Completed and signed nomination forms can be returned by post or hand delivered but must be received by noon on Thursday 22 December at the:
• Electoral Office: Level 2,
198 Federal Street, Central City
• or Botany
Library: Level 1 Sunset Terrace, Botany Town Centre
