Brand new Hawke’s Bay Food & Wine Guide for visitors
This week the brand new Ultimate Hawke’s Bay Food and Wine Guide 2017 Guide hits the shelves, just in time for another busy summer season.
A brand new guide, the Ultimate Food and Wine Guide is a merger of the previous Hawke’s Bay Dining Guide published by Hawke’s Bay Tourism and the Hawke’s Bay Wine Guide produced by Hawke’s Bay Winegrowers.
Hawke’s Bay Winegrowers Executive Office Melisa Beight said she was thrilled to partner with Hawke’s Bay Tourism. “Working together has enabled us to reduce duplication and resource, save money and allow us to produce a truly comprehensive guide. In addition, our wineries have received more advertising space and a bigger distribution network to promote themselves through, all at less cost”.
The amalgamated food and wine guide features 92 local culinary businesses, divided into eight easily digestible sections including a brand new section dedicated to our local breweries.
Accompanying this guide is a separate tear off map pad which visitors can easily take with them when out and about or as a quick reference when stopping in at one of our many cellar doors.
Annie Dundas, General Manager, Hawke’s Bay Tourism said “This project has been another example of our collaborative approach to marketing and we are very proud of the new look and design. Combining these guides has made for one sleek and useful guide that highlights the best of Hawke’s Bay’s food and wine in one simple to use booklet for visitors”.
The Ultimate Food & Wine Guide has an extensive distribution network with 25,000 copies distributed within Hawke’s Bay. Outlets include: i-SITES, accommodation providers, wineries, cafes, tourism operators and the Hawke’s Bay Airport. The 2017 guide will also be available to download online via hawkesbaynz.com.
