Bachelor Swaps Red Rose for a Red Nose!
Celebrity couple, Art & Matilda were out at Auckland Airport today but instead of a Red Rose, Art presented Matilda with a Red Nose! Not quite
as romantic but she didn’t mind because it was all for a cause that is dear to both of their hearts – Cure Kids.
The duo were onsite at The Loop Duty Free, one of Cure Kids Associate Partners, and took the opportunity to support Cure
Kids Red Nose Day 2016 Campaign.
Tom Byrne, General Manager, The Loop Duty Free, New Zealand said; “Having Art & Matilda here to support our first ever Red Nose campaign is fantastic. They are such a busy couple and to see them give
up their valuable leisure time to help Cure Kids is a real inspiration to our team. It also speaks volumes about their
commitment to helping raise funds to ensure that Cure Kids can continue to fund important research into childhood
diseases.”
Art & Matilda were returning from Fiji after taking part in the Accor Hotels Race to Survive which is a four day endurance
event across Fiji in support of Cure Kids.
Cure Kids, CEO, Frances Benge was delighted that Art decided to swap out his trademark Red Rose for a Red Nose; “It’s
wonderful to welcome The Loop Duty Free to our family of sponsors. We hope that as many travelers as possible take up
the opportunity to support Red Nose Day during our campaign which runs through until 18 November.”
Art Green said; “Cure Kids is an incredible charity so we jumped at the chance to support their annual appeal, Red Nose
Day, at the Loop Duty Free. We have really enjoyed taking part in our Fiji challenge but raising funds is what this is
all about so swapping the Red Rose for a Red Nose seems like a fun way to raise funds for what is a very serious cause.”
If you want to support Red Nose Day visit rednoseday.co.nz or text nose to 933.
For travelers passing through Auckland Airport, Red Noses are available in return for a $3 donation at The Loop Duty
Free until 20 November.
