"Appeal for sightings of missing woman, Joan Gringley"
Waikato Police are looking for 68-year-old Joan Gringley who has been reported missing from her rest home in Hamilton.
Miss Gringley was last seen on Tuesday 11 October, 2016, when she told staff she was going out and would return on 13 or 14 October. She has not been seen since and may have travelled outside of Hamilton and the wider Waikato District.
It is not uncommon for the 68-year-old to return later than expected, but she has never been gone this long before and Police are concerned for her safety.
Miss Gringley is European, about 168cm tall and of stocky build.
It is not known what she was wearing at the time of her disappearance, but her outfits usually include a bonnet or headscarf.
Anyone who knows where Miss Gringley is, or believes they may have seen her, is asked to contact Hamilton Police on 07 858 6200.
Alternatively, you can provide information anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
