Man charged following Auckland City Hospital stabbing
A 56-year-old man has been arrested and charged in relation to a stabbing at Auckland City Hospital this afternoon.
The man has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
He will appear in Auckland District Court on 19 October.
The victim remains in hospital in a serious condition.
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident and has not yet spoken to us - please call 09 302 6557.
As the matter is now before the court, Police are unable to comment further at this stage.
