Both the National Park (NPCB) and Waimarino-Waiouru Community Boards (WWCB) which require four elected members each will however both need by-elections which have been scheduled for Friday 17 February 2017.
The NPCB only received two nominations for the four vacancies being Simon O’Neill and Jenni Pendleton who were both declared elected unopposed.
The WWCB received four nominations being; John Compton, John Hotter, Winston Oliver and Allan Whale who were also declared elected unopposed.
Regrettably John Compton passed away necessitating the by-election.

Voting papers are scheduled to be delivered from Thursday 26 January 2017.
