Suspicious death in Whangarei
Police in Northland are investigating a suspicious death in Otangarei, Whangarei overnight.
Police were called to the scene shortly before 11pm after members of the public reported hearing gunshots.
On arrival, Police found a 34-year-old man in a vehicle deceased.
Police inquiries into the incident are ongoing and some cordons remain in place this morning.
