West Coast Police investigate dairy robbery in Westport
West Coast Police are investigating an aggravated robbery that occurred late last night at the Mill House Dairy in Westport.
At approximately 11:30PM three males entered the dairy and confronted the only person present at the time with a firearm.
The person did not sustain any injuries.
The offenders have ransacked the dairy, and the attached home, and taken a large amount of cigarettes and other items. They have then left the scene in the victim’s car, which was located by Police sometime later on Alma Road.
The offenders were all wearing bright orange vests or jackets.
One of them is described as having very blond hair.
Police are conducting a forensic scene examination at the dairy this morning and would like to hear from anyone that has any information in relation to this incident.
West Coast Police would like to reassure members of the public that they are actively working on locating the offenders and holding them accountable.
