Tokoroa Police investigating vandalism
Police are investigating the vandalism of three schools in Tokoroa which have been extensively damaged over the past two nights.
“Numerous windows have been smashed in a act of pointless destruction that is costing schools and our community large amounts of time and money, says Senior Sergeant Jason Henderson.
“Police are reviewing CCTV footage of the offenders and will be patrolling schools and surrounding areas to prevent further incidents in the coming nights.
“Damage has also been caused to some businesses in the Tokoroa CBD and we are not ruling out a link between them,” he says.
Tokoroa Police ask anyone with any information about these incidents to please contact them 07 8850100 or report anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
