Ronald McDonald House Charities Keeping Families Close with Rotorua Drycleaners

Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC)® are proud to announce their partnership with Rotorua Drycleaners as they continue to care for New Zealand families through the Ronald McDonald Family Retreat in Ngongotaha.

The Ronald McDonald Family Retreat allows Kiwi families a welcomed break in order to spend some quality time together. Each year over 80 families make the most of the Retreat, be it for a fun family holiday, or to take time to grieve in a peaceful space on Lake Rotorua. The Bennett family from Palmerston North are one of the families who have enjoyed the Retreat; “When you wake up to beautiful views across the lake the stress just melts away,” said Dad Selwyn.” An endeavor like this can only be accomplished with the support of local communities and businesses like the Rotorua Dry Cleaners.

September 1st marked the beginning of this partnership as Rotorua Drycleaners will be supplying the Ronald McDonald Family Retreat with linen and laundry services. Rotorua Drycleaners invest in leading-edge European commercial laundry, in order to provide these families with an excellent product, ensuring that they have the best experience possible.

Ricky and Kylie Brackfield understand the importance of family relationships as Rotorua Drycleaners is a third generation family owned business. Founded by Kylie’s grandfather in 1956, they have gained the respect of their local community supporting various charities and foundations throughout New Zealand. They’re thrilled to be able to join Ray White Rotorua in helping RMHC support Kiwi families through the the Ronald McDonald Family Retreat in Ngongotaha.

A child’s road to recovery can be a difficult time for families.
