Hawkes Bay Regional Council formal investigation
Hastings District Council was today advised that the Hawkes Bay Regional Council will begin a formal investigation into the Havelock North water supply contamination.
Hastings District Council welcomes this investigation. It demonstrates that Hawkes Bay Regional Council are doing its job.
“We trust that Hawkes Bay Regional Council will apply the same rigour to the other bores in the area and other features of interest which we have shared with them this week as part of our ongoing investigations” said Ross McLeod, Chief Executive Hastings District Council.
