Ticketek Now Available at i-SITE
One of the main players in event ticketing, Ticketek, is now available at the South Taranaki i-SITE Visitor Centre.
Ticketek is well known and widely popular for events and concerts throughout New Zealand with Westpac Stadium in Wellington, Trusts Arena and Sky City Theatre in Auckland, Claudelands Arena and Waikato Stadium Hamilton just some of the venues using Ticketek as well as big events like Auckland 9’s, Homegrown, and Vodafone Warriors.
“It’s really exciting to be able to offer this service to our customers,” says i-SITE Supervisor Tarin Hunt.
“New Plymouth have changed their preferred ticketing provider to Ticketek as well, so tickets to almost any show or event at TSB Showplace, Theatre Royal and Yarrows Stadium can now be brought here,” says Tarin.
“With exciting shows coming to New Plymouth including Grease, Engelbert Humperdinck, The Nutcraker and The Laughing Samons, being able to access these tickets locally is a real asset.
Tarin says customers still need to come into the i-SITE to purchase tickets as they are unable to sell over the phone, but the trip for South Taranaki residents is a lot closer than New Plymouth and with lower fees than online and phone booking services it just makes sense.
“With Ticketek coming on board the South Taranaki i-SITE is just about your one stop shop for all event ticketing – with Ticketmaster the only outlet missing from our services and we hope to secure them in the near future too,” says Tarin.
The South Taranaki i-SITE Visitor Information Centre is located at 55 High Street, Hawera, underneath the Water Tower.
