Sold - Landmark Coatesville mansion
Exclusive listing agency Barfoot & Thompson has confirmed that the landmark mansion in Coatesville – one of New Zealand’s most distinguished and opulent properties – has been sold.
Barfoot & Thompson residential and rural salesperson Christina Tang, who listed and sold the property, says both the vendor and buyer are thrilled with the result but have requested privacy.
The agreement is subject to strict confidentiality and no further details about the buyer, purchase price or other aspects of the sale will be released.
Listed for sale by tender earlier this year, a highly specialised local and international marketing campaign highlighted the home’s luxury offerings as well as the property’s development potential.
“With the support of a far reaching and highly targeted marketing approach, this one-of-a-kind property attracted interest locally and abroad,” says Ms Tang.
“We fielded hundreds of enquiries and hosted multiple qualified purchasers at private viewings.”
Details of the tender process would also remain confidential, but Ms Tang says there were several interested parties involved in negotiations.
