ERA Finds in Favour of Peggy Burrows

The Employment Relations Authority yesterday ruled against the Rangiora High School commissioner, Beverley Moore, after she took a case to try and gag former RHS principal, Peggy Burrows.

Mrs Burrows was dismissed in March this year and as a result is taking a case to the ERA challenging that dismissal, which is to be heard in September.

“I am looking forward to finally being able to present my case in September where I will be seeking full reinstatement,” she says. “I would like to thank everyone, both locally and further afield, who continue to support me through one of the most difficult experiences of my life.”

The ERA has set down a two week period to hear Mrs Burrow’s case from September 12.
