International K-Pop Dance Talent Hits Albany Mall

Albany is about to be treated to some heavyweight dance talent.

Choreographers Rina Chae and Kiel Tutin are fresh back from Los Angeles where they’ve been dancing with Beyoncé, Justin Bieber and Parris Goebel as well as Korean pop stars CL and BoA.

Along with a troupe of dancers, they’ll be facing off in four free, ground-shaking half-hour K-Pop dance performances at Albany Mall on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th of June.

Alongside the performances, 30 lucky people will get the chance to take part in a free six-week K-Pop dance course with Rina Chae at Apollo Studios in Wairau Valley. Those keen to participate can register their interest online at Satellites.co.nz or in person at the Albany Mall performances.

The free events and dance course are part of ‘Satellites’, a pilot programme of events celebrating diverse arts outside of the city centre. The programme is presented by arts and culture publication The Pantograph Punch and is supported by Auckland Council.
