“It would be an honour to represent our city and work together to build our new lives as we move into a key phase of our recovery.”
“My experience as an insurance advocate means I have an excellent understanding of how to “break down barriers” and find fair and appropriate solutions on behalf of fellow Cantabrians. This kind of conciliation and communication is an important part of being a local government representative.”
“I’ve had an avid interest in politics since my teenage years. Politics was a part of my life growing up as my father Rex Lester represented our City as a Councillor and Deputy Mayor from the late 70’s.”
Glenn Livingstone says “Advocating for the people of Burwood-Pegasus at the Council table has been a real privilege. I’m particularly proud of the work I’ve done around housing and insurance.”
“I’m looking forward to a campaign talking about the issues that matter to voters out East — housing, roads, the future use of the Residential Red Zone, and community facilities.”
