All cultures invited to celebrate Samoan Language Week at Pataka this Sunday

What: Art + ‘Aiga at Pātaka Public Programme – Celebration for Samoan Language Week 2016

When: 29 May 2016, 1pm – 3.30pm

Where: Pop-up space, Pātaka Art + Museum

Who: FREE Family Photos by Andrew Matautia (Saint Andrew Photography) The photos will be put on the Pātaka facebook page and Saint Andrew Photography facebook page. Participants may then tag/share/download their photos.

Details: It’s that time of the year again when the Samoan language, Gagana Samoa, and culture are featured in events and celebrations across the country. Here at Pātaka, we invite you and your family to participate in our Art + ‘Aiga day on Sunday, 29 May 2016. We will have Andrew Matautia (Saint Andrew Photography) taking family photos in the Spine, so please feel free to dress up in your best attire that represents your culture and heritage. We also encourage families of all ethnicities to bring their measina to be photographed with them.
