Vector’s Electric vehicle rapid charger statistics


There were 125 charging sessions across our rapid chargers for the week.
The busiest EV charger was Hobson Street with 26 charges consuming 114 kWh.
The average length of the charging sessions was 20.4 minutes.


Network summary for week ending 22 May 2016

Electricity

Bad weather contributed to an increase in car v pole incidents – eight occurred in Pt England, Matakana, Greenhithe, East Tamaki, Mangere (2), Clevedon and Onehunga.

Vector crews attended 10 house/building fires, up from two the week before. These were in Flat Bush, Mangere, Sandringham, Glen Eden, Glen Innes, Lynfield, Manurewa, CBD, Three Kings and Onehunga. This was to isolate the electricity/gas supply for safety, as requested by the Fire Service.


Gas

Third party contractors caused damage to our gas networks in New Lynn, Ponsonby, Bucklands Beach and St Heliers.
