Car fire investigation continues
Marlborough Police removed the body from the car found burning in a layby off State Highway 1 at Tuamarina on Sunday
evening.
The body will be transported to Christchurch for a post mortem examination.
The post mortem is expected to take place on Tuesday.
The investigation into the cause of the fire continues and at this stage the cause is yet to be established.
