World-class acts in Auckland this summer

Enjoy the sunshine, fresh air and a range of world-class entertainment this summer with free lunchtime performances at Aotea Square, major exhibitions at the Auckland Art Gallery, family-friendly outdoor concerts at Auckland Zoo, jugglers, comedians and mimes at the International Buskers Festival and delicious kai moana at the Seafood Festival along the waterfront.

Regional Facilities Auckland (RFA) Chief Executive Chris Brooks says that the aim is to transform Auckland into an unforgettable summer playground for all.

“Auckland will see some world-class entertainment this summer. Just to name a few highlights, from now until the end of April we have the Auckland City Limits music festival setting up to rock Western Springs in March, the Auckland International Buskers Festival during anniversary weekend along the waterfront, our new Pridelands redevelopment at Auckland Zoo set to open at the end of March, and performances from international and local talent including Bic Runga and Tiny Ruins, Noel Gallagher, John Cleese, Brian Wilson and Dawn French across all RFA venues.”
