One week left to complete Wakatipu public transport survey

Wakatipu Basin residents have one more week to take part in an Otago Regional Council survey about public transport in the area.

The survey aims to provide ORC with a better understanding of the choices residents and visitors make when deciding which mode of public transport to use, and seek feedback about what factors might influence those choices.

The survey closes at midnight on Monday 14 December.

ORC manager support services Gerard Collings said people can either respond using a reply paid envelope (which has already been provided to them through the post) or online through the survey website www.transportsurvey.co.nz

Further survey forms can be ordered by calling 0800 787 844 or by sending an email to contact@transportsurvey.co.nz

Mr Collings said ORC representatives will be at the Queenstown Airport from 10am to about 4pm tomorrow and the Queenstown Town Centre from 9am to about 3pm on Wednesday, encouraging residents and visitors to complete the survey.

The survey results will be available early next year with any transport network changes confirmed by end of June 2016.
