Moa at the Whanganui I-Site

MOA AT THE WHANGANUI I-SITE

Whanganui i-SITE has a new addition to its team – a very large moa arrived at the Whanganui riverfront on Thursday. Created by Jack Marsden-Mayer, the renowned driftwood artist, the moa has been installed by the front doors of the i-SITE and is available for purchase for $5750. Previous works have been purchased by Sir Richard Taylor, owner of Weta Workshops.

Taking three weeks to create, the team at the i-SITE are delighted and believe it will be a great feature with visitors and locals lining up to take photos. Made with New Zealand native hardwood driftwood, the sculpture is constructed using galvanised tech roofing screws.
