QLDC Chief Executive resignation
Queenstown Lakes District Council is in better financial shape than when Chief Executive Adam Feeley took over in 2012,
Mayor Vanessa van Uden said today.
Mr Feeley announced his resignation this morning. He told staff he would stay in the district and was looking forward to
enjoying the outdoor lifestyle more, while pursuing other opportunities.
Mayor van Uden said Mr Feeley had reshaped QLDC by bringing together three separate organisations and improving the
delivery of core infrastructure and services.
"We wish Adam well and thank him for what he has achieved in his three years with us.
"I will be discussing Adam's resignation with Councillors at the earliest opportunity and expect that we will begin
recruitment swiftly."
Mr Feeley will finish work at QLDC in late February .
