Use your concert ticket to travel to Fleetwood Mac
Fleetwood Mac play Mount Smart Stadium on Saturday and Sunday nights and you can get there and home on public transport.
Dates and Times:
Saturday 21 November - 8pm with opening act at 6.30pm (Gates open 4.30pm)
Sunday 22 November - 7.30pm with opening act at 6pm (Gates open 4pm)
If you’ve pre-purchased a ticket you can travel on a special event bus or train to the stadium. All you need to do is show your concert ticket but remember you cannot consume alcohol on public transport.
There will be large crowds and busy roads as people make their way to and from the stadium and we suggest you have a travel plan and set-off early.
Bus:
Travel on special event buses is included with your concert ticket. The return services run direct to Mount Smart from the Northern Busway stations and from Quay St near Queen St in the city, look for the buses marked “Special Event”.
Keep your ticket for the return trip. Regular fares apply for usual bus services.
Train:
You can travel on trains up to 3 hours before the opening act with your concert ticket. Travel prior to this will be at the standard fare.
Additional trains will operate before and after the concert. All rail services will go into Penrose station which is about a 10 minute walk from the stadium.
You will need to show your concert ticket.
Ferry:
The Downtown Ferry Terminal is near the Britomart Transport Centre; ferry passengers can easily change to a bus or train for transport to the concert. Regular ferry fares apply.
Driving:
Some roads in and around the stadium will be closed to traffic or have restricted access. Please make sure you have parked legally before leaving your car. For mobility parking contact Mount Smart Stadium directly.
