Mid Canterbury State Highway delays, Rakaia, from 27 October to 12 November
Road users passing through Rakaia on State Highway 1 south of Christchurch to Ashburton should be ready for short delays after Labour Weekend as the road is resurfaced near Rakaia.
The work will run from 27 October until 12 November and involve traffic lights with just one lane during the day.
The NZ Transport Agency thanks drivers for their patience as they upgrade this highway for the busy summer period ahead.
For the latest on highway conditions, go to www.highwayinfo.govt.nz, phone the Transport Agency’s 0800 4 HIGHWAYS info line or check the Facebook pages.
