Update on missing student
Police divers have now completed their search of the Auckland harbour front as Police continue their investigations intot he disappearance of Indian student Mandeep Singh.
Acting Detective Senior Sergeant Marcia Murray said that the search had failed to provide any further lines of enquiry into the disappearance of Mandeep.
"Police do now know that Mandeep was seen on a pier in Queens Wharf just after 4am on Sunday morning and was alone at the time.
So, at this stage, unless further information is received, we are not treating his disappearance as suspicious."
She said the matter would now be referred to the Coroner.
