Fatal Train Incident - Kaiapoi
At approximately 11pm on Wednesday 14th October Police were called to the railway lines south of Kaiapoi, where it was
reported a train had struck a pedestrian on the tracks. A male in his late 20's was found deceased at the scene.
Police are currently conducting a scene examination and the matter will be reported to the coroner.
