Dive Squad continues search for missing student
The Police Dive Squad is continuing its search of the Auckland waterfront area this afternoon as investigations into the disappearance of Indian student Mandeep Singh continue.
Police divers began their searches soon after lunch time today.
Acting Detective Senior Sergeant, Marcia Murray said Police would like to thank Auckland Transport, the Harbour Master and the ferry operators for their assistance today as the Police divers carried out their searches.
She said Police could now confirm that they have two further positive sightings of Mandeep since he left Bungalow 8 bar on Sunday morning and enquiries are continuing.
"We are still keen to hear from anyone who may have seen Mandeep either in the Viaduct or Quay Street areas after 3am on Sunday and would urge people to call Police on (09) 302 6557."
