Top to Toe Fashion Event to Raise Funds for NZ Breast Cancer Foundation
Kapiti retailers have come together in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to raise funds for the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation, with a Top to Toe fashion event hosted by Grylls Keleher & Matthews Optometrists.
The inaugural Top to Toe event is a fun night out designed to celebrate women and fashion, with all profits donated to the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation.
Attendees will hear from Suzanne Fahey, Fashion Advisor & Director of Fashion Academy NZ, as she presents the latest fashion trends and tips for creating the perfect “top-to-toe” look.
Participants will also have the opportunity to experience the latest fashion and beauty products, in addition to expert advice from Grylls Keleher & Matthews Optometrists, Frenz Hair Design, Gorgeous Boutique, Superminx Shoes and Sophora Skincare.
Helen Hall from Grylls Keleher & Matthews Optometrists says the event is an opportunity for local women to have fun whilst supporting a good cause.
“Breast Cancer is the most common cancer for women in New Zealand and because of this, most of us know someone who has been affected by this disease,” says Hall.
“The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation is a not-for-profit charitable trust which relies on grants and donations, so the aim of the Top to Toe event is for women to come along with their friends and enjoy the latest in fashion and beauty, whilst helping to make a difference in the process.”
All ticket holders will also receive a goodie bag valued at over $250, packed with treats from Grylls Keleher & Matthews Optometrists, Gorgeous Boutique, Whittakers, Coca Cola, and more.
