New Marketing and Sponsorship Manager for the American Express Queenstown Winter Festival
Queenstown, New Zealand (13 October 2015) – The American Express Queenstown Winter Festival is pleased to announce the appointment of Kylie Bulling to the position of Marketing and Sponsorship Manager.
Kylie comes from a strong sponsorship and marketing background, most recently working in an Auckland based agency, managing media planning and buying, social media strategy, content and reporting.
Prior to that Kylie was the Sponsorship Manager for the Wellington Sevens, where her role encompassed sponsor account management, events management, marketing and brand management and media liaison. She has also held roles at The Dominion Post and NZME (then TRN) so brings both print and radio knowledge to her new position.
Born and bred in Southland, Kylie has spent much time holidaying in Queenstown with family, so is familiar with the region. With her family now residing in Central Otago she is looking forward to making a return to the district.
As the Marketing and Sponsorship Manager, Kylie will lead the marketing and promotion of the Queenstown Winter Festival as well as working with the family of sponsors of the world class event.
American Express Queenstown Winter Festival manager, Lisa Buckingham, is delighted to welcome Kylie to the team.
“I am looking forward to having Kylie as part of the festival team and working with her. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from previous roles that will be extremely valuable for the Queenstown Winter Festival. Her skills, combined with her love of Queenstown and passion for the festival, really made her stand out as the right person for this role,” says Ms Buckingham.
Kylie commences her role at the Queenstown Winter Festival today (Tuesday 13 October 2015).
