Serious Crash - Southern Motorway Ellerslie/Penrose
Emergency Services are at the scene of a serious crash on the Auckland Motorway.
The crash is believed to involve two cars and happened in the Southbound Lanes between the Ellerslie - Penrose and
Mount Wellington Interchanges at about 3:pm.
1 person is understood to be trapped with severe injuries. Traffic is building rapidly and drivers are asked to avoid
the area if possible and to be patient if caught in the congestion. The Police Serious Crash unit will be investigating
the incident.
