Botany Design Awards
The future of New Zealand fashion lies in the hands of young designers: 2015 BDA's will decide
For the next couple of weeks, the halls of Botany Town Centre will resemble a scene out of Fashion Week, with 85 mannequins beautifully dressed by some of the nation’s youngest and most-passionate designers.
For the past few months, BDAs entrants have been elbow-deep in fabric, patterns and ideas in the hope of taking home first prize which will set one young designer well on their way to a career in fashion. Whether you are interested in seeing the talent behind the garments or just appreciate good fashion sense, the garments are available for the public to vote on their favourite at Botany Town Centre from 28 September to 11 October, 2015. The BDAs judges will then announce the overall winners at a special Awards Night on the 19th October.
The BDAs (Botany Design Awards) – a competition, is shaping the future of fashion at its base, and we’d love to invite you to check out what Auckland’s high school design students have been busy designing and creating for the past six months.
