Two arrested after raid on suspected ‘Clan Lab’ in Meadowbank
Two people have been arrested on drug manufacturing charges following an early morning operation at a property in Meadowbank.
The Organised Crime Unit and Armed Offenders squad executed a search warrant on the residential property in Gowing Avenue at 5.30am today and took two people into custody.
The two arrested are a 27-year-old man, who will appear in the Auckland District Court today, and a 24-year-old woman.
Both will face charges of manufacturing methamphetamine.
Detective Senior Sergeant Andrew Saunders said investigations and scene examinations were still continuing at the property.
The site has been secured by Police and other emergency services but we would still ask residents to please avoid coming too close to the scene until all examinations are complete.”
