"Absconder back in Police custody"
A man wanted by Police after breaching his home detention conditions earlier this month when he removed his electronic monitoring anklet is now in Police custody.
Police has been actively looking for 44-year-old Casey Cowan since 3 September, who until now has been evading Police.
Mr Cowan presented himself to the Auckland Central Police Station public counter this morning.
He was sentenced on March 4 to six months home detention in the North Shore District Court having been convicted of committing violent offences.
