Titanium Passes Fly Out The Door
Titanium Passes Fly Out The Door
A new luxury ticket being offered at the Warbirds Over Wanaka International Airshow for the first time next year has proved a huge hit.
All 100 Titanium tickets for the Saturday have sold out and only a handful remain for the Sunday
says Warbirds Over Wanaka General Manager, Ed Taylor. “Our Gold Pass remains our top end three-day pass but we have had a lot of people asking us for a one-day version, hence the Titanium Pass” said Ed.
The Titanium Pass area will be situated alongside the Gold Pass grandstand in the middle of the flightline, but will be more intimate.
“We have restricted tickets to 100 on each day. The Titanium area has superior furnishings and viewing area and there will be top-end catering, starting with breakfast, available throughout the day, along with superb refreshments including some of the top regional wines.”
Titanium pass holders will also receive a number of other exclusive benefits.
Ed says having sold out the tickets so quickly proves there is demand for such a product.
“It also reaffirms for us that Warbirds Over Wanaka remains one of New Zealand’s must-do events not just for Kiwis but also for international visitors particularly from Australia. We have a record number of tour groups selling Warbirds Over Wanaka in Australia this time round. The interest has been fantastic and will mean that once again thousands of Australians will be coming to our event.
Most of these visitors do not just come to Warbirds, they’re booked on tours which take them around the South Island. This is just another example of how far reaching the benefits of our event are to the wider New Zealand economy” said Ed.
The 2016 Warbirds Over Wanaka International Airshow is being held at Wanaka Airport on March 25th 26th, 27th with the Rides Day on the 28th. For more information see www.warbirdsoverwanaka.com
