Fellow workers perform CPR on work mate
Today the Tauranga based Trustpower TECT
Rescue helicopter was dispatched to Waihi Beach where a 59
year old Te Puke had been working on a building site when he
suffered a serious cardiac event. The man work mates carried
out CPR on the man until emergency services arrived, St John
ambulance and NZ Fire service attended the scene.
The man
was airlifted to Waikato Hospital in a critical condition,
on scene CPR helped give the man the best chance of survival
possible.
