Waioeka Gorge Car Accident
The NEW Rotorua based BayTrust Rescue helicopter was dispatched to the Waioeka Gorge this afternoon for its first
mission. A 49yr old female was involved in the accident after her vehicle left the road. She was flown to Rotorua
Hospital with serious injuries in a stable condition. The helicopter was used due to the remote location of the
accident.
