New digital hub offers free Wellington content for regional promotion
Stock video footage, edited video clips, marketing collateral and high resolution imagery of Wellington are all now available to order online through a new Resource Hub on WellingtonNZ.com.
The new hub provides free access to more than 200 images, videos, presentations, maps, documents, guidelines, logos and illustrations. The portal is designed for media, trade and businesses, as well as local and government agencies, for the promotion of Wellington.
Positively Wellington Tourism CEO David Perks says the Resource Hub is part of the evolution of WellingtonNZ.com into a one-stop-shop for promotion of Wellington as a place to visit, work, study and do business.
“We have long provided imagery and video footage to the tourism industry, but this development has expanded the offer to a range of businesses who have an interest in selling and profiling Wellington.
“Making promotional resources available in an easily-accessible online platform is just one way we can provide practical partnership to an expanding range of businesses and organisations."
Mr Perks says the WellingtonNZ.com Resource Hub is easy-to-use and the library of material will continue to grow through regular updates.
"The flexibility of search and filtering makes it easy to find what you're looking for - whether that's images for a travel feature, a video for a business presentation, maps for a conference brochure or other resources.”
Resource requests are assessed to ensure they are used for valid promotional purposes and work in with usage contracts, but orders are processed quickly, Mr Perks says.
"The Resource Hub will multiply the value of our promotional assets, by putting them in the hands of people and businesses who share our vision of growth for Wellington, so we’re keen to get them into peoples’ inboxes as soon as possible!"
The WellingtonNZ.com Resource Hub was designed and built by DNA using Shopify and FetchApp, with search functionality by Findify.
