Magnificent Maples Workshop

The maples responsible for the glorious autumn hues at Tupare, one of New Plymouth’s premier heritage properties, will be the subject of a free public workshop on Sunday (10 May).

Magnificent maples put on an autumn colour show at Tupare

The workshop runs from 2pm to 4pm at Tupare, 487 Mangorei Rd, and will include an inspection of the property’s magnificent maples as well as a discussion about ways to create colour in the home garden.

The workshop is part of a year-round programme of events at Tupare, Pukeiti and Hollard Gardens, the three heritage properties owned and administered by the Taranaki Regional Council on behalf of the people of the region.

For more information, see www.tupare.info, www.hollardgardens.info and www.pukeiti.org.nz. Social media users can also follow the Taranaki Regional Council gardens on Facebook (TaranakiRegionalGardens) and Twitter (@TaranakiRG).
