West Coast Health and Disability Resource Consumer Forums

West Coast Health and Disability Resource Consumer Forums

Health and disability information users are invited to a series of forums to discuss West Coast services and activities.

The Federation for Disability Information Centres is the professional body that oversees the running of these contracts. Together with the West Coast DHB they would like to hear from consumers of health and disability information services throughout the West Coast.

Federation Chair Karen Beard-Greer says the aim of the forums is to see what would better assist people with getting accessible, easy to find health and disability resources and information in the right place at the right time. She is coming to the West Coast to lead the forums.

The DHB’s Disability Strategic Action Plan 2015 – 2017 will also be discussed at the forums.

The forums will take place in May, at the following venues:
· Greymouth, 4 May, 2pm, Karoro Learning Centre

· Westport, 5 May, 10.30am, Phelan Hall, 13 Henley St

· Hokitika, 6 May, 10am, Senior Citizen’s, Cnr Revell and Tancred Sts
