Events and activities sought for new science festival
Hutt City Council is seeking expressions of interest for events and activities for the first Hutt STEMM Festival, which will run from 2-7 June 2015.
The Festival will focus on science, technology, engineering, manufacturing and mathematics (STEMM) and showcase Hutt City as one of New Zealand’s leading economic growth centres.
City Events Manager Carla Steed says, “Events and activities are sought that will engage business, schools or the wider community so the scope of the brief is quite wide.
“We’re looking to have a diverse programme of events and activities that will appeal to kids just learning about science and technology right through to locals who are experts in their field.”
Expressions of interest are open until 5pm on Friday 1 May and can be made online at http://tinyurl.com/Hutt-STEMM
