TrustPower TECT Rescue Helicopter Tauranga Recent Mission
This morning the Tauranga based Trustpower TECT Rescue helicopter was dispatched to the Eastern Bay of plenty settlement
of Hawai where an 18 year old local man had been found unconscious in his bed, St John ambulance tended to the man and
called for the rescue helicopter to transport him to hospital. He was flown to Tauranga hospital in a critical
condition.
The helicopter was sent due to the distance to hospital and the time critical nature of the man’s condition.
