Hop-To-It! Adopt A Bunny For Easter
SPCA Waikato have been taken over by bunnies this Easter! With a wide selection of adorable rabbits available for adoption, SPCA Waikato are making it easy for you to adopt a pet rabbit by offering a special bunny adoption price of $30 (normally $50). The available rabbits are already de-sexed and vaccinated and ready for a loving, permanent home. This offer will be available throughout April only.
In addition to the reduced adoption price, SPCA Waikato are giving you the opportunity to also purchase a rabbit hutch from them. They currently have a range of hutches you can choose of varying sizes. The rabbit hutches available have been specially selected by the SPCA’s Bunny Team to ensure they have a good living space and warm sleeping areas. They will be selling both second hand and new hutches with the prices ranging from $50 to $250.
Like any pet, rabbits will need your daily care and attention, but the rewards of being a rabbit owner are worth it. Rabbits can make delightful pets. They are quiet, loving and social animals with great personalities and make wonderful companions for all age groups.
If you would like to adopt a rabbit at the special price of only $30 (dropped from $50), get in touch with SPCA Waikato on 07 847 4868 or hop along their centre at 219 Ellis Street, Frankton, Hamilton – they are open between 10.00am – 4.00pm seven days a week.
SPCA Waikato is an incorporated society that exists to improve the lives of animals.
With no government funding to assist with day-to-day running costs, it relies heavily on donations from the public and fundraising. Each year the organisation investigates over 1,400 inspectorate cases and cares for over 3,500 animals by providing food, shelter and love while finding them a new permanent home.
The SPCA currently has a number of animals available for adoption. To view the animals or to make a donation, visit www.waikatospca.org.nz
