Power outage for Pouto
Additional Northpower lines crews are working to locate a fault at Pouto Peninsula.
Around 100 customers will be affected by the pending outage which is expected to begin at 10.30am and could last for two or three hours.
Lines crews from Dargaville, Maungaturoto and Whangarei are inspecting every power pole from just south of Opuna Road to Pouto Peninsula.
The company says the area has been subject to numerous recent intermittent faults and it apologies for the inconvenience caused.
Northpower customers in Kaipara and Whangarei Districts are encouraged to phone Northpower Faults on 0800-10-40-40 to report any outages.
