HUTT CITY COUNCIL NEWS RELEASE
12 JANUARY 2015

Paranormal activities on the rise in Wainuiomata

This Saturday night Hutt City Council is playing Ghostbusters (the original) for free in Queen Street Reserve, Wainuiomata.

The 1984 cult classic, well-known for its special effects and comedy, tells the story of three eccentric parapsychologists (played by Bill Murray, Dan Ackroyd and Harold Ramis) in New York City who start a ghost-catching business.

The film is the second of four free family films playing across Hutt City on Saturdaynights in January. The Lion King played last Saturday night in Taita and was a roaring success with a crowd of about 1000 turning up for the free show.

People are encouraged to grab a rug and their family or friends and head down to Queen Street Reserve for a 9pm start. People who did this at The Lion King had the best seats in the house and chilled out family time before the film.

This film is FREE. Food and drink will be available for sale.

Please bring low seating. No dogs allowed.
