Upper Hutt Restaurant's Xmas Deed
Rimutaka Lions Club are again organising the Upper Hutt Christmas Day Lunch -Room at The Inn for those alone at Christmas .
Murray McMahon ,the owner of Main Street Restaurant and Quinns Post in Upper Hutt has made his Main Restaurant available for the event free of charge this year and will cook the meal on Xmas Day Pak 'n'Save are donating all the groceries and others have donated hams etc., .Soul City Church have also donated funds to help .The Lions Rimutaka team also prepare and distribute about 70 meals on wheels the day .
Rimutaka Lions Club President Colin Cheeseman says that last year Murray McMahon cooked all the food on his premises and was keen to make this year's lunch run even smoother by offering his restaurant premises.
