Auckland is set to get the ultimate New Year’s Eve experience at SKYCITY with fabulous fireworks and dazzling entertainment for celebrating in style.

Two giant LED light panels will display a count down clock facing the Auckland Museum and Auckland Harbour Bridge from high on Sky Tower. The count down display starts from 11:00pm until the midnight moment when an explosive five-minute fireworks display will usher in 2015.

This will be a New Year’s Eve to remember at SKYCITY Auckland, where there are plenty of parties and Federal Street will be buzzing:

All SKYCITY Auckland restaurants, bars and cafes will be open and bookings are essential. Visitors will still be able to access the Sky Tower which will be open until 12:30am (last tickets sold 11:30pm). As always, there will be no public holiday surcharge at any SKYCITY outlet.

SKYCITY Auckland is likely to reach capacity on the night, so if you are planning on heading in, arrive early to avoid disappointment. Guests planning on visiting the Casino will need to bring photo ID and an R20 restriction will be in place.

Vehicle access to Federal Street will be closed from 7pm until 2am, drivers are advised to use alternative entrances and exits on Hobson and Cook streets.
