Chance to have a say on new Library facility
Palmerston North City Library and Community Services are conducting a feasibility study with the aim of seeing if a library/community space is needed in Kelvin Grove.
Maria Bennett, team leader said students have been employed to canvas residents in the Kelvin Grove area to gain feedback.
“From Tuesday to Friday this week we will have students going out and surveying people in the area about their thoughts, ideas and wishes in regard to a library facility,” Maria said.
“We’d like to get an idea what residents think and if there is a need for it. Students will be asking questions about location, hours that would most suit and what type of resources they would most like to see made available.”
The students will be visiting residents between the hours of 10am and 2pm and again between 4pm and 8pm.
